Sound of North
Rooted in Scandinavia and inspired by life and nature Sound of North is is derived from the Nordic Noir movement and lends itself to an organic feel with space - calmness and mindfulness. It is a musical univers with a focus on creating a unique space that invites the listener to open up their minds and ears to the poetic landscape of North.
The album was recorded by a handpicked ensemble consisting of composer Frans Bak on grand piano and synthesizers, Josefine Cronholm's ethereal vocals, Live Strings - a string quartet led by Live Johansson and Keld Haaning Ibsen creating electronic soundscapes.
The album was released in june 2016 on Mercury Classics and is available on all major streaming services - including Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal.
